News clips produced by TV stations WLUK-TV FOX 11 & NBC 26 (Green Bay, Wisconsin) documenting Rey Moore’s attempt at securing a new trial.
John Gaie, a scientist and professor in Wisconsin, was the brother-in-law of Michael Piaskowski. After hearing Piaskowski’s story upon his exoneration, John collaborated with Wisconsin history author Denis Gullickson to write The Monfils Conspiracy: The Conviction of Six Innocent Men. The purpose of the book was to spark demand for a re-investigation of the case in order to prove the innocence of the remaining five men. The book has achieved its goal as evidenced by the 2015 evidentiary hearing for Keith Kutska in order to gain a new trial. Although Keith Kutska’s legal journey is far from over, there’s hope that he, too, will be exonerated like Mike Piaskowski.
